Terms of our service.
Thank you for contacting us to supply you with entertainment for your wedding or party in Kent. Please read below our terms and conditions.
1.All bookings will be subject to the deposit and booking form returned within 14 days, and deposit is non refundable in event of cancellation.
2.All staff supplied by us will be of 5 star rating to the best of our ability, smart, punctual & polite.
3.Anyone caught abusing DJ's equipment, Photobooth, Flowerwalls or Sweet Carousel the hirer will be liable to the cost of damage to said equipment and in the event of staff being abused we hold the right to shut down and remove our services in extreme circumstances.
4.Bookings will only be fully confirmed within 14 days from the time of enquiry, with the completion of the booking form, terms and conditions form, and deposit, or function booking date may be lost to another party.
5.A receipt will be sent out within 7 days from receiving the completed booking form and deposit.
6.All forms must be signed and dated where stated.
7.Remainder of balance will be settled in full 28 days before your wedding/party date.
8.Please make sure there is car park space or parking payment maybe added to the balance of your bill and if any extras are requested at a later date, these will be added to the final bill adjustment.
9.Hearts Desire is only held responsible for our services and not for where the venue is taking place.
10.We do our best to make every party a great success, however guest interaction is also required we are not reasonable for making people dance who do not want to dance.
11.In the event of a function being held in the congestion charge zone, a charge of £11.50 will be added to the final balance, only if a DJ has to enter the congestion zone, at active zone times.
12.If you wish to book online, you can make payment through PayPal. You do not have to have a PayPal account to pay us. PayPal is a fully secure online banking site, you can also pay us via BACS transfer our details of this will be given. We will contact you and send a receipt via email on completion.
13.If customers cancel a booking 28 days or less before the venue, unless in exceptional circumstances, the customer will be charged the full amount of the balance.
14.If we receive back from our bank a returned cheque from yourselves more than once, you will incur our £10 bank charge, only if you are paying any monies by cheque.
15.In the event of the full wedding package required if you require earlier set up before 11am, you may be charged an early set up fee. Most discos will be set up from 11am, but if set up is needed earlier the charge will be at a rate of £50 each hour. (This is because not all DJ’s live close to your venue so therefore may need to stay with their equipment for the whole time).
16.Most other disco set up times will be 1 hour before start time, if you required earlier set up than 1 hour before, you may be charged an early set up fee, this also includes photobooth and sweet carousel.
17.In the event we provide dry ice effect, only our staff may touch or be near the machine and the dry ice pellets. We are trained to use this effect and no one may go near the area unless our staff say so.
18.If we are providing venue mood lighting, only our staff are to handle the lighting effects. If any person thus breaks or removes any of these lighting effects term 3 will apply.
19.If we are providing a flowerwall, a visual inspection will be completed by us and you the hirer and on collection if any flowerwall panels are damaged, each damaged flowerwall will cost you the hirer £25 per panel damaged. This will be taken from your £50 deposit and any additional cost will be charged. No damage and you will receive full deposit back on inspection at the time of collection.
20.When contacting us or booking our service we will only hold details from you that we require and no more, this is inline with GDPR requirements. We will never passed on your details without your consent and will only contact you with regards to your enquiry or booking. All your information is kept secure and we only keep records of bookings for account purposes only.
